UARY/MARCH 2011

WEATHER WAS COLD!

________________________________________________________________________
Unable to accomodate everyone in this

space,  we moved into the adjoining larger room for Sunday services.
____________________________________________________
Only a few weeks later, it was necessary to remove the wall
between the two rooms to provide for a larger sanctuary.

Rare photo.  Our pastor has a hammer in hand! (No one was injured.)

Wow! More than double the space!  Exciting times!

And God added to the church...

One year ago, Sue Ann O'Neal Clark, our Minister of Music and dear friend, first came to share her musical ministry gifts at what we now fondly refer to as the "Pizza" church. (Hope and AJ's Pizza shared a common wall. )

Our God has done and is doing wondrous things!  Today...

Just one year later as we count our blessings, let's remember what HE has done in our midst.  He has provided us a new church building with a wonderful sanctuary and has brought together a fellowship of believers who want to be sure that everyone knows who Jesus is.

Yes, Jesus. There's just something about that Name.
PRAISE HIM!

If you have not been with us in service, please be our guest.  We welcome you. Come!

DID YOU KNOW?

Salvation begins with God.
God tugs at our hearts so that we may come to know Him in a personal way.

John 6:44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him ... (NIV)

Revelation 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in ..." (NIV)

Our sin separates us from God.
Romans 3:23 All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

We cannot gain an intimate relationship with God through our own efforts.

He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. Titus 3:5

Isaiah 64:6
All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags...(NIV)

Romans 3:10-12 ...There is no one righteous, not even one... (NIV)

John 14:6 Jesus told him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. (NLT)

Salvation is a gift from God.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (NIV) Romans 5:8

WOULD YOU LIKE TO EXPERIENCE THIS FREE GIFT of eternal life and have a personal relationship with God?  If so, pray a prayer like from your heart.

"Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins.  Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life.  I ask you into my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always."

If you have prayed this prayer and meant it, share the GOOD NEWS with someone.
