----SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT  ----

In celebration of Memorial Day, Sunday evening May 27, rather than having a formal Sunday Evening Service, we'll gather together on the Hope grounds for a time of outdoor Christian family fellowship. (Bring your lawn chairs.)  Other items needed are outdoor grills, food for grillin' , a side dish, and your musical instruments.  We'll provide tea and soda.  There will be lots of impromptu music, and testimonies of God's faithfulness.  Cory Smith will bring a devotion.  This will be a fun evening that you won't want to miss.
   Think casual!
We'll fire up the grills around 4 p.m.  Invite your friends to be a part of this informal family gathering.

DID YOU KNOW?

Salvation begins with God.
God tugs at our hearts so that we may come to know Him in a personal way.

John 6:44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him ... (NIV)

Revelation 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in ..." (NIV)

Our sin separates us from God.
Romans 3:23 All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

We cannot gain an intimate relationship with God through our own efforts.

He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. Titus 3:5

Isaiah 64:6
All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags...(NIV)

Romans 3:10-12 ...There is no one righteous, not even one... (NIV)

John 14:6 Jesus told him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. (NLT)

Salvation is a gift from God.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (NIV) Romans 5:8

WOULD YOU LIKE TO EXPERIENCE THIS FREE GIFT of eternal life and have a personal relationship with God?  If so, pray a prayer like from your heart.

"Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins.  Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life.  I ask you into my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always."

After you have prayed this prayer from your heart, share the GOOD NEWS with someone.
